Is a private company strategically located in Mbarara City Southwestern Uganda; approximately 268 km from the capital Kampala. The company started in 2003 and is engaged in agricultural value chains for mainly cereals and pulses with experience in agribusiness; and other business lines such as agricultural inputs, hospitality, and construction. 

 The company works with a network of 2,700 smallholder farmers and individual traders in the districts of Mbarara, Isingiro, Rwampara, Kiruhura, Ibanda, Kamwenge, Ntungamo, Rukiga, Kabale, and Lyantonde. Birya United Agencies Ltd employs over 130 people both directly and indirectly and has built a clientele portfolio that includes but not limited to Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs, Office of the Prime Minister, Office of the President, and Uganda Police Force. The company also exports her products to Kenya, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, Burundi, India, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Canada

Birya United Agencies was incorporated on 28th November 2003, and in 2011 we were recognized among the 100 fastest-growing mid-sized companies in Uganda. Since then, we have been certified as one of the top 100 mid-sized companies in Uganda year after year.

Birya United Agencies Ltd has over the years been recognized among the top 10 of 100 Best SMEs in Uganda and has recently been awarded the Western Regional Champion by KPMG.

Birya United Agencies Ltd is a member of the Grain Council of Uganda, Eastern Africa Grain Council, Uganda Manufacturers Association, Uganda Export Promotions Board, Uganda National Agro-input Dealers Association, and the National Organic Agriculture Movement of Uganda.

The company has invested in a grain trading and handling hub with a total storage capacity of 10,000MTs in both Bulk and Bagged storage, fitted with a mechanical dryer and cleaner with a capacity of 40MT/Hour.
